My driveway is 350 up a hill, when it rains, it washes it down and into the road. How can I do it myself cheap?

How can I do it myself as cheaply as possible. Should I dip a trench at the top to run it across into the big ditch we have. or what. I am a female, so I can possibly dip it out by hand, it will take so work for it.
