I have bought coffee maker from USA and shipped to Malaysia but it is not working.?

Recently I have bought online a Coffee Maker from Target.com. I shipped it very expensively using Hopshopgo.com to my home in Malaysia. When it arrived I saw that on the box is written Made in China, !!!!!. But the interesting part is that the power cord is American and it uses 120 Volt power. I turned it on before knowing this and it worked, then for the second time, it didn't work. Do you think it is broken or the elements are burned or not? Any one knows how to adapt the power cheaply. Where I should look for a cheap power adapter.
